We are pleased to announce a call for proposals for the 2021 New England Rural Health Association conference poster session. You can learn more about this year's conference - Rural Resiliency: Innovation and the Journey Forward on November 3rd and 4th at the Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine on our webpage.

Are you connected to a program or research project related to our conference theme or rural areas of focus that you would like to share with conference attendees?

We are looking for posters related to topics impacting rural health including Oral Health, Public Health, Hospitals and Health Systems, Workforce Development, COVID-19 mitigation strategies, and Behavioral Health as well as other areas of focus such as forming community partnerships, leveraging funds, recruitment and retention strategies, primary care collaborations with integrated delivery systems, hospital and clinic management, population health, and utilizing telehealth technologies.

These are only meant to be examples of poster topic ideas and are not limiting. Please feel free to submit any unique and innovative ideas or projects that the audience would find valuable. We encourage academic posters about original research and also welcome less formal posters about special programs or projects. The poster exhibits are best described as a show and tell opportunity versus a formal poster presentation session.

All posters will be displayed in public areas of the conference facility with spacing for safe discussion - there will be time during breaks for attendees to view the posters. We will have materials to hang your poster on display boards and ask that your poster be no more than 46 inches wide x 64 inches high.

Poster proposals will be reviewed in early October and then on an ongoing basis as they are received. Please click here to submit.

Additional Information:

We will ask that posters be sent to the event location prior to the conference. If you are unable to send your poster in advance of the conference we will ask you to take responsibility for hanging your poster, with mounting materials that will be provided to you. Poster authors will be responsible for removing their poster at the end of the conference.

A minimum of one author of each poster will be required to register for the full conference. Note: Students who cannot attend may send their poster with a faculty member who is attending the conference.

You will also be asked to send in a final PDF file that will be shared on our website to our virtual attendees.

Important Submission Information:

Please note that ONLY poster submissions are being accepted at this time.

Please email us @ [email protected] with any questions.
